Zackary Sommer

扎克大梁 (he/him) was born in San Diego, 加州, where his creativity and love for movement led him to dance. He received a diverse dance education at 跳舞ology Performing Arts Campus before starting at The Juilliard School. During his time there, Zack performed works by Medhi Walerski, Jamar Roberts, Aszure Barton, Rena巴特勒, Tiler Peck and Ohad Naharin. He has participated in summer programs, including Springboard Danse Montréal and Jacob’s Pillow. Zack was named a SPOTLIGHT Grand Prize Finalist, a Laguna 跳舞 Festival Scholarship Winner, and a National YoungArts Foundation Award Winner. Zack is a guest artist for Ballet BC in their 23/24 season and is grateful to his family for their support and cultivation of his career.
